Classification of ceramic
tile
According to ISO International Standards and EN-UNE European
Standards, manufacturers classify tile by the production
process used to shape the tile. Extruded style is group
A and dust-pressed (dry-pressed) is group B. Each designation
is further classified by its degree of water absorption.
